Bots Are Stupid is a 2D puzzle platformer game that lets you step into the role of a Central Locomotion Officer in a futuristic factory. Instead of using live inputs to control your character, you will need to program precise instructions for your robots. The robots need to follow all of them to make it through the level. Don’t worry about crashing your robots. There will be an endless supply of robots, so there will always be a way to complete the level. 

Platforming meets programming

Bots Are Stupid is a jump n run game with a grappling hook. Set in a futuristic factory full of deadly obstacles and nauseating heights, your characters will be robots. But, instead of sentient robots who can do anything, the robots in this game are extremely stupid. They rely on your commands to do anything. However, instead of controlling your character by pressing keys, you need to input precise commands.

There are 12 uniquely challenging platformer levels in the game. To play, you need to write the instructions that the robots will do.  As noted, the commands need to be precise as the obstacles can cause the robots to explode. Don’t worry, though. There will be an infinite supply of bots, so you can try more than once to clear a level.  To help you clear the levels, there will be grappling hooks, speed boosters, and conveyor belts that you can utilize. 

Bots Are Stupid is a game unlike any other. It combines platformer games with programming, which is a surprise to players. Players, however, may find the tutorial a bit boring since it is not that interactive. It could also use more commands so that players could complete each level easier. 

Unique game

All in all, Bots Are Stupid is a game that is fun to play. Writing commands instead of pressing keys makes the game unique. On top of that, the endless supply of bots allows players to try various command combinations to complete a level. It could use a few improvements, but as it is, the game already provides quality gameplay.
